Default Tail in to all 8s & funnels question

So I started doing ArchmageAU's training program a few days ago. I'm using the heli-x sim hover training circle.

I just got my first 0 resets session at 100% speed, 0 wind, medium circle, heli-x collective.

The original article doesn't talk about the heli-x circle size in the progression rules. So what my next step? Should i reduce circle size to small, or take manual collective control first?

Also, should I do the small circle before starting inverted?

Congrats on 15mins no crashes inverted at 100% speed. That's a big achievement right there.

In the version of Heli-X this was done on, there was only one circle size (medium).

Stay with the medium circle and add collective. (You will be glad you kept the medium circle )

My opinion would be to reduce circle size once at 100% speed, collective control and no crashes for 2 consecutive sessions (one CW and CCW).

Oh I'm not doing inverted yet. This is upright. 2nd question was should I wait to get 0 resets on small circle upright before starting inverted.

Or is medium circle with manual collective good enough to start inverted?

Medium circle upright, 0 crashes, at 100% with collective control is enough to start inverted.

"buckle your seatbelt Dorothy 'cause Kansas is going bye-bye".

Just remember to intersperse upright sessions with inverted (otherwise you will get inverted and upright will disappear for a while).

Look forward to hearing how you go.

I think I'm going to do the first few inverted sessions without piro. Get some skill at nose in, tail in, side in, separately before starting the piros.
