I fly my forza 450 at 3600 rpm so probably will go with that range on 360 mm blades. The motor I have is the scorpion 2520-1580 KV and since there is only 18 and 19 T pinion I would like to see what headspeed I can achieve with this KV motor. I will be using Koby 70A on it.

I told myself to wait and watch how this one and the goblin compare when they come out.. but after looking at the part prices for this one I may have to hide my credit card

After seeing the goblin 380, compared to chase 360.. I think it's mostly going to be die hard goblin fans buying them unless they have highly competitive pricing.

Of course, I haven't had the goblin 380 in my hands.

On a side note.. goblin 630 may be in my future, since putting a KDE-600XF-530-G3 in my 600X I've had nothing but problems, I think the motor is too much for it. Going to get the 630 and transfer all electronics.

Here the gear ratio with 19T. Also 18T would be available.

Got a hands on with the chase today. Had a hard time giving it back to the owner.

What an amazing piece of kit this heli is. The cog is really high up in the heli and it is much lighter than I expected. And due to the dual stage belt drive, the canopy is extremely sleek and narrow. The finish on al the parts is amazing.
I wasn't really thinking about buying a smaller size heli (I own a trex 500) but I don't think I can wait for the goblin 380 vs chase 360 comparison.

as you can see, there wheren't any blades on it yet, so no flight unfortunatelly. I was able to compare it to a mcpx bl.

I think kds has made one sexy heli and launched themselves into the big league.

Edit. Unfortunately the pic turned upside down during the upload. Not able to fix that atm.

Default The arrival of yet another 450. Could this Chase be the ultimate?

Yeah, it would be nice to see them side by side with the Chase in front... having it behind the x3 will make it look smaller just from perspective...

Well, I just this minute unboxed my new Chase 360. I have to admit I was chatting to myself as the box came out of the shipping cardboard, what canopy does this have? I am simply blown away! Thanks Glen for pulling this off! The canopy IS the one you designed, and it is simply beautiful.

The parts fit and finish is just outstanding. Time for a build thread with step by step instructions and tips from Glen himself. We are starting one this next week just as soon as my new servos show up for this build.
