Design goof in the washout base links?
I was replacing my flybar that got bent in transit (grr). I decided to do a deep inspection of the entire head while I was at it.
I was looking at my washout base links. There is a angled recess at the connection point that I would think would face the other direction to allow more travel without binding (see picture). At first I though oh poop [used another word there], I put them on backwards. After ripping the head apart I found out, that is the only way to install them without turning the washout base upside down. The manual has conflicting diagrams on page 10. top drawing they are shown as installed. bottom is opposite (which there is no way to do). do you think this is a design\manufacturing goof ?
