This has been a very hard hobby to enter into for me. You see all the different birds on YouTube and your thinking that yours must be broken because the one in the video seems to fly inverted, tic toc to barrel roll, just fine within that guys 6x8 kitchen.

Same with the big ones You buy something, need help here and within 4 min, you get replies like. that's a nice toy, bit to fix the broken feathering shaft, it will cost more than you just buying a Trex5-600.. So you do.. Then You ask about where to buy an align canopy for your proud new investment and you get.. " V1? V2? Your not trying to piece together that old thing are you?".. Its about shafts Pitt, Shafts.. And besides.. for the money it will cost to find a V2 canopy which by the way, people will laugh at, you should just buy a Rave Youngblood with Helicommand...

So Now? I WAIT! I will gladly buy these pocket rockets ( although this one was more than I expected) but I think Helis will be taking a HUGE turn soon. No flybar, shaft driven and with that will come more affordable FBLS Gyros. But then again, My dad told me that by the time I got my Licence, we would all be taking the test in hovercrafts.

Man! That didn't take long at all... places are listing it for Pre-order already! ClubHeli has it for $289... http://clubheli.com/Walkera4G6BRUSHL...ansmitter.aspx

I put my order in!

woohoo thats awesome. will these first few come with the 2801 PRO you think? seems like they would want to get rid of the other ones first. i think ill wait before jumping in. just to see how you guys like them. so when you get them, PLEASE post some reports and comments about them. they seem incredible

Also. at club heli the description says belt drive, not shaft drive. which is right? i personally would like a belt drive more to avoid breakage problems and make it a tougher little sucker

jbeauvil001,
They will be coming with the PRO. As for the tail, it is a shaft drive...(SORRY! Our heli formats are the same so I cut and paste from a different heli...) Apologize for the confusion. It would need to be a tiny belt to fit through the tail boom! Thanks for the heads up...

I was wondering about that too. Good call.

What is the difference from PRO to the 2801E? I know the E has full range.

It would be nice if they put throttle hold in the "right" place.

Sorry about that....we'll see how long I can hold out.

Just got my 4g3 flying well a week ago with the brushless motor.

For the price including the 2801, it is a pretty sweet deal for the 4g6.

I just bought a large tank for my dual sport motorcycle.....must hold off on heli stuff.....must hold off on heli stuff.....that only works for so long but I have to keep thinking it.

I think better to wait for second batch. The first batch is always dissapointing, from the previous experiences with walkera. They might have a lot of problems and they will end up with lot of upgrade very soon after first batch.

It uses the same reciever and motor I see.

But Helis must be like computers, no matter which one you buy, there is another cooler, better one just around the corner. At least it looks like a lot of the 4g3 parts will work on it, so parts that don't involve the tail or the frame should be easy.

You nailed it on the head. I don't expect many problems with the first batch. It's been in developement for quite some time. If you wait for the next best thing, you'll never get one! The way Walkera pumps them out, the 4G8 is only 4 months away.. (that's a joke! No 4G8 news!)

I was thinking of getting the 43G version - read a write up on it & changed my mind! Maybe if it was BNF I would seriously look into it.

In the pictures of the 4G6 and video it shows a plastic head flying but at the end of the video they show a close up of an aluminum head.
Which is it?

That would be nice and seems like they will do it but still just a rumor isn't it?

Default Gyro?

I was reading on it and it doesn't really say, Is it going to have a Rate Gyro or a HH gyro? All it says is Independent.
