Only 10 flights? It happens. These parts are mass produced, bound to be a dud every once in a while. You should call Horizon and see what they will do. They have excellent customer service. I had a servo go bad before the first flight on my 130X, they took care of me with no problem.

0 crashes. Thats the surprising part! All the abuse i put my mcpx through while learning to fly collective without any serious damage.. Now i can finally fly without crashing ( much) and the nano conks out on me! Maybee it needs to be crashed lol. Horizon is sending me two new servos to replace. Awesome service but the wait is going to suck!

I know about hating to wait. HH wants me to send in my DX8 for a new TH switch. I'm debating because I can't live without my TX for two weeks!!! No flying , no sim, no way. I really wish they would just send me what I need

FYI, the Futaba switches work on the spektrum remotes. See my post on a different thread.

Summary: towerhobbies has the short and long switches that fit/work on the DX6i and probably your DX8 also.
