Software and hardware are the main differences, so just about everything. Align made huge improvements to both. It's a total new system. The GUI has a similar feel for how it is layed out as many of the screens have the same feel to them. The internal software is different.

Thanks,
Mickey

The 3g was a good attempt by Align at a first fbl system but it had its downfalls.

The 3GX is all new hardware and software, its features are up there with the best FBL systems out there and it flies really good indeed.Got mine on a 550 and all my other helis are V Bar V5.1 and i have owned Beast X as well.

3GX has seriously impressed me so far.Align have done a great job on this sytem and they deserve a round of applause.

Do you like the 3GX better than the BeastX?

Personally I think the 3GX is easily as good as the Beast x as far as flight performane goes, add the fact that it has an inbuilt governor and allows 2 Spektrum sats to plug direct into the unit then all in all I think it's technically the better system for sure.

Tbh I am mainly into my v bars but if I needed to buy a cheaper system I would choose the 3gx over the Beast X.

That's pretty high praise, the beast x I have performs very well.

I agree the ability to take 2 sats out the box is a great feature, and it's one of the reasons I'm now trying to decide between 3GX or skookum for my new protos... Not sure if the skookum is worth the extra for me!
