Default motor upgrade options

Not sure if this has been covered but I couldn't find it so I'll ask anyway. I was looking for a new main motor for a 120sr and decided not to go with stock. I've come across two choices, either the xtreme or the rakonheli motor. I was hoping you guys could share some feedback on the 2 and which you think is better. And also if there's another motor that's better and doesn't involve any mods. Thanks for the help in advance. Happy flying.

I have the xtreme motor and have had no problems with it.

This has been covered many times so....in a nut shell most have found the added cost of the aftermarket motors have not been worth the cost. Many dissapointments have been posted but....there are a few that have been happy with their choice. Unless you like the looks, most mods have little to no value as far as making it fly better. My only mods have been flybar and swash plate. These do not make it fly better, they just make it respond more quickly which is great if you have experience but bad if you are new.

Thanks for the info. I have no plans of any major upgrades. Probably just the swash and flybar for improved response. Just figured a little extra power never hurts. Haha.
