Never done it but its worth a try if you have extra center hubs in case it doesnt work..There's only one way to find out for sure right...
Spot on. Could swear I've seen others in here talking about this but for the life of me I can't find the thread.
I'd give it a go if I had an X shaft. Just thought this could save OLP a lot of time and effort

I considered drilling a larger hole in the stock hub to fit the x shaft but it would weaken it. I don't even think there would be any material left to hold those anti-rotation things. Ha! I think that's what you call them!
I took everything out of my parts organizer and no stock main shaft. I can't believe I lost it. I have 2 new ones on the way though and a new Extreme blade holder. I may just stick with the Extreme set up and just not put the Bell-Hiller on it. I always have the option of going back to stock since I will have so many spare parts.

Steemo, that little brass ring is what I was talking about. Trying to keep it and the bearings in place while lining up the holes for the bottom pin and for the bolt on top. I think it took me an hour or so. That's why I may just stick with the X set up!

I got my new 180 motors on my CX2 and it's as smooth as silk......now if the wind would just die down!
I'm gonna spend some time crashing on the sim until my parts come in.

Thanks guys!

OLP,
Track your package of parts coming, if you still have a week or so before getting parts to get you in the air, I will just send you a shaft tomorrow first thing. It will only take at most 3 days probably only 2 though..but at least you will be able to get back in the air sooner!

Let me know
