switching to futaba

is the R6203SBE tx ok for an X2 or do I need to use a R6203SB

I have the full range version, and fully satisfied with it. Even with 2 antenas it's very light once taken out of the case. I assume the E would also work, but I just wanted to play it safe.

So I went with the SB version

I use the E version on my Atom 500, no problems and I have flown it faaar out.

I would think you loose sight of the X2 before you lost rf link

The place where I bought my pile o Futaba didn't have the SBE but they gave me the same price on the SB. A whole $5.00 US.

I totally agree. You'll be out of visual range before you go outside radio range. If you cant see it, you cant fly it even if you have control.
