tail drift on the left
Hi,
I've a dx6 and when I'm in idle up and I give negative pitch the tail starts drifting on its left (nose goes on the right). No problem increasing positive pitch. I've tried changing revo mix, and tail becomes solid at 95 dw on the left. But, in this configuration, in the floor, in idle up, it spins anticlockwise. Same problem with a new tail....every time i reduce picht, nano rotates clockwise. What can i do? |

Idle-up, negative pitch, I assume you are inverted. I fear you may be pushing the limits of the poor nano beyond operational capacity (it is an underpowered micro). If you have a BL conversion, the increased torque may be more than the tail can handle near full negative collective. Come to think of it, maybe check that 0 collective is 0 pitch (ensure you are not simply staling the blades near full inverted). Only other thing I can think of is vibration (if the main blades are not balanced, or the feathering shaft is bent). Vibes play hell with gyro's. You could add a cushioning washer/damper between the 3-in-1 and the frame (unscrew board, add damper, re-screw) if this is the problem. Best of luck. Thanks for help.
I noticed this behaviour non inverted, but in idle up to try some pitch punches. I'll try dampers, it seems a good idea! I've noticed some help using revo mix for increased pitch, but i've never used it for decreasing pitch, since now..... Yes, i'm a listener because things i'dont know are far more than things i know I have to thanks HF, for example, for MH plate: for me it was only a blinky gadget, but reading your posts i bought it and i've found a great improvement! |
