Default Best way to mount Castle ESC on Trex 800 pro dfc

This is getting frustrating I have now built one of every size of trex helicopter there is except for a 700 and each and every one doesn't facilitiate what I would call a "perfect" mount for the esc, either its too tight of a fit somewhere, either its got minimal airflow, either the wires are all jammed up or all the above.

So where do you put it on this bird, it fits aweful where the book shows. Colin Bell video shows it off to the side which will give it better air flow I think but its gonna have 3 mounting points it appears.

I mount my esc in the nose section, on the side.
You do have to dremmel some plastic off the nose assay' to accomodate the esc (mainly the caps) neatly though.

I would've preferred the rear tray like my 700 I had but the 160 is too big.

Lol....ok, well please post what you do do cos' thats by far the easiest and common mounting solution

Mounting there with a 120hv on the 700 was sometimes an issue with high ambient temps but the 160hv handles it without issue....even without the fan (160hvf)

I like the ease of access to the motor/ESC wires with your setup Desert
