take a sheet of printer paper and run it through. I tis the correct spacing for backlash, and is just barely abrasive enough to lap the gears in nicely

Default Rough TT gears!

I noticed when building my nx4 earlier tonight that if I inserted the tail boom too far in, the gears became extremely rough, loud and notchy. Good advice with the paper to set the mesh

You will eat them up anyways if you run 2700-2800 HS and beat it hard (the way this heli is aimed at being flown)! I have seen stronger gears.

Wink Noise

Let them make noise! They should wear themselves in. After a couple flights, if they are still making noise id recoment lubing them! Dryfluid works and align bearing grease is good! Should solve your problem!
