Default Here is some tips for all

Seeing many new people coming into Flybarless world, here some tips of stuff which really doesnt matter what solution you choose, for the best experience, please read since this is holes which many of us already flying FBL have fallen into from time to time already;

Mechanical Setup

Flybarless isn't a shortcut for skipping mechanical setup, a badly setup heli will fly like crap in comparison, period. Meaning you should set it up as good as you can.

Vibrations
Vibrations is your enemy, you might have gotten away with some vibes with your flybar, but when you put 3 gyros on there, there is a chance someone of it will pick it up, and any vibrations is bad, much vibrations is REALLY bad.
For Electric helis, take off the mainblades and spool it up while you hold or at least can feel the heli.
Different sensor mounting can help when you cant get rid of the vibrations (nitro etc), different tapes etc.

Mounting

Its VERY important to mount the sensor straight, in all axis, else you get interaction.
Its also very important that your mounting is in a FIRM place, that "plastic lip" on a T500 isnt a good place at all.

Sensor direction
This is the one thing that, if you get it wrong, your flight will be the shortest you have ever done, I mean it, there is no chance you will make it.

Low headspeed
Specially for beginners of Heli-flight, that with paddles, when you had low headspeed your heli had lower cyclic rate, this is not the case with flybarless, so tune down your rate for your unit for the first flight so you don't get overwhelmed by fast cyclic.

Blades
Different blades will fly differently, and require different setup.
Just as before, the blade type has biggest impact on settings and how the heli fly, just because the blades you did fly with paddles was good for you then, it might not be the best blade now when you have gone flybarless.

Not yet,

Got real winter here for once, flying time is limited, I choose to fly only machines I dont need to tweak now since you never know when you get to fly next time.

Might consider testing one later on, we'll see.
