hello.. fixing a k2 i think it is. has the purple motor.. doesnt seem to be a c clip on the pin side of the motor ? the outter bell will move up and down with ease.. any ideas ?

I just checked my HK250 which is where I put my King 2 3900KV motor when I upped the King 2 to a 450 motor. The 250 runs about 4500 rpm headspeed with that motor and it has no clip. The magnets keep the motor can in place. I have not had any problem with it. In a way, I think the clip is a placebo. It is weird that it goes up and down when you move it with your hand, but it works fine under power. The magnets are really powerful. BTW, the pinion will stop it if you pull far enough..
