I don't think there are any alternative servos small enough. The 4#3 A/B servos are probably closest, though I don't know if anyone has managed to fit any yet, modifications would be required

servos on mine have been working great. mine is also for sale (wanting something bigger). check out youtube.com and type in helifrek for some of my videos. I have only heard a handful of people having bad servos.

I don't seem to have any problems with my 4G3 servos. My only complaint is that the 4g3 is a bit heavy and I am looking for soluctions and ways to reduce the weight.

Today is only day 2 of my owning a 4G3, but my servos seem OK.
They are extremely fast. The walkera transmitter sticks are not damped
at all. If you move the ailerons all the way to one side and let go, the
stick will return to the middle and bounce for a fraction of a second.
When the happens, I can see that my swash is also bouncing at the same time. I've
never seen a swash that can move so fast, something to be said about
having really low moving mass.

I've read these servos are the same ones used in 4#3, and not as good as those
used in 4#3A or 4#3B. I suspect in a ccpm heli, you'll always have at least
two servos moving the swash, so the load on each servo is lighter. Hope
that means the little servos will be fine in the 4G3.

The servos in the 4G3 will be upgraded. 4G3's will have the same servos found in the 4#3B. This should be happening with the newer 4G3's coming out of Walkera. In case you guys haven't heard the metal parts and brushless motor will be available soon as well.

There is a kit from Walkera due out early in the new year which consists of the A/B servos and a new frame. If you bought your 4G3 from Terence: http://www.chinesejade.com/walkera.htm then you get the kit at a discounted price. May well be the same with other suppliers

Should be Walkera is providing the main frame, servo clips for free to the dealers that ordered the earlier 4G3's so it's really Walkeras deal, not that of any dealer.

Thanks, I didn't know

Re the metal upgrade kits, I've heard they will cost around $50 !!!
If so I doubt it will be worth it, particularly considering the extra weight they must add.
