Default Trex700 Build videos!

AWESOME MAN.... Align decided to give me a pre-production kit to use for build videos so they were available when you all get your production kit in 30 days or so!

Now when I say pre-production that does NOT mean the parts are pre-production. Only the box and some other items in it may be different. Other than that it should be SPOT on. I will note in my videos what I know will change from my kit to the production kit.

Anyway a BIG THANKS to GrandRC and Assurance for helping me make this happen for you all I have to say... Ed at Grandrc.com is a HUGE supporter of me and my videos.....He runs a GREAT SHOP. Has anyone ever seen a complaint about him on Helifreak forums? NOPE... Ed takes care of business guys.... If you have not shopped with him before, GIVE Ed at GrandRC a try! He IS the man

Anyway ON WITH THE SHOW

Gene.... it's going to be a MINIMUM of 2 weeks till you see it.... Video builds take some time man

If I could I would have it DONE TONIGHT and be at OCMA Saturday
But I have to do what I do and that is help others build this thing right and for me IT IS WORTH the wait!
For me part of the hobby is shooting build videos and I enjoy the HELL out of it! If I didn't I would not be doing them and be out flying this heli Saturday

I love it Bob! Congrats. You know, they should have given you 2 kits, one for the build and one for you to fly NOW. I look forward to seeing your vids.

Hmmmm.... I work with stuff most of the world won't see for another decade or so, yet I find myself envious of Mr. Finless... I'm in the wrong profession.

Looking forward to the rest of the set.

I have to admit, GrandRC is great! I have bought quite a few things from Ed, including my first big T-rex 600 haul that started it all

finless once you get the 7100R you wont need that dual voltage reg anymore, or your gov, its all built in. that is what I am planning on using on my 600NSP, 700N is out of my price range for now, not initial costs but operating costs.

as for how he got that spartan, I bet he got it last time they were availible, I picked up two spartans last time you could get them, I have one on my 450 waiting to find a home of a 600NSP.

I am looking forward to see the build video!! What in the box was freaking sweet!!! It will be some time before the rest of us get our hands on these kit, so take your time and do the build videos right!!
Let's face it, without your help and videos, alot of us would not be in this hobby!!!

Bob you said you was using the non pumped OS because you was going to use the carbsmart. I thought Alan Jr. used the non pumped cause they liked the Klein pump instead??? So if using the non pumped os you don't need a pump if you have a carbsmart?

This is NOT a bitch session against Ed at Grand RC, but us "California" guys don't get that great of deals thru GrandRC. We get charged tax, which is totally in line with the law I understand, but getting charged tax and shipping adds up over time. I've spent over $5000 this year on this hobby, with tax that bill would be almost another $500...... That's a Trex 500 kit!!!

I was told by another member that Ed would take care of the tax and shipping if my orders were over $100, so I called Ed personally and he politely said "no".

I've ordered from Grand RC in the past when I'm in a bind, but it's not the first shop I'll go to because of this.... (I UNDERSTAND THIS IS THE GOVERNMENT, NOT GRAND RC). But, I also think Grand RC could give us "California" guys a 8.25% discount to get our business.

Call me a "penny pincher", but it adds up overtime.......

I'll continue to give my money to: ReadyHeli, TechModel, Heliproz, and CME. (All sponsored sites).

Bob...just messing with you... your service to the hobby is legendary and appriciated...watched the 450 vids when I first got into the hobby and that's what kept me from pulling my hair out ( at least what's left). As for GrandRC...Just got another order delivered yesterday...always a pleasure to deal with them and orders are always perfect.
