Default Anyone has new PV1585 Tail boom for sell?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has a NIB PV1585 G4 tailboom for sell. I knew that I could get it from Taiwan but I want the one with the old style "aircraft" logo.(see picture) If you have one that you don't need please give me a pm for price. Thanks!!

FYI. The "new" style booms require the "new" style tail case or modification to fit the "old" style tail case. Also, the bolt holes in the tail fin are slightly different spacing from old to new.

Taiwan had the old PV1585 tail boom which is direct fit for G4. But the logo on the tail boom has been changed. So I wish someone still has the old stock.

They don't have old ones. They made a running change and kept the same part number.

Not to be avoiding your question, but could you not simply order a carbon tube of the correct dia on eBaY? I have done this on three models and have a superior boom on each. 100% carbon tube is lighter and stronger than the carbon veneer-wrapped alum tubes the model makers provide. Since you'd be fitting the length, and end slots/holes yourself with a Dremel, you end up saving money at the same time. I ordered weave wrap finish (two gloss, and one matte)...and not pultruded tubes.

On my nitro machines that logo doesn't last a week.

I'd say rub it off and print a decal with the image you want.

Thanks for all the replies. The G4 is my first 700 and it's going to the shelf. That's why I would like to have the original part put on it. For other helis, I will find the cheapest way to make it fly. Thanks again.

Just learned a fact, that PV1585 is not PV1585 anymore. TT basically change the design of the tail boom and make it fit for G4.1 and discontinued G4 tail boom. Now the G4 tail case is no longer compatible. G4 is being completely abandoned and I am stucked with 4 G4 tail cases with no tail boom to go on to.

I used the new boom and old tail box...the fix was very simple just used the plastic part form the trex 700 that goes into the hole and behind the tail fin...had the whittle it down a bit and drill a 4mm hole to take it...the tail fin on the G4 holds it nicely in place...its a lot better than it was before as well...I also made a Carbon TT as well as I could not get hold of one at the time....
