Default final prep on my xes, a few questions

so i'm finishing the h550 this weekend and there is only a few things left to do. first off, is it a 120 degree eccpm so for futaba the swash setting is 3-S, correct? also on the tail belt. just how loose/tight on this bird? i know on the mx450 it likes to be run with some slack, almost enough slack to see the belt "curve" around the pulley, not pulled tight. lastly, what servo is what on this bird? and are the channels the same ie: ch1 ele ch2 ail ect? i just don't know which servo is which and the manual doesn't specify. thanks!

I just set it up "normal" and it is fine - perhaps slightly on the loose side of what I have for my 450

1 and 6 are the front servos and 2 is elevator (back)

Cheers,
Mike.

sweet. thanks. is the one on the left side of the heli (looking at it from behind) channel 1 and the right side channel 6? i know some would say this doesn't matter, just reverse the servos if they don't move the right way but i'd like to have it set up the same as my 450 if possible. so technically, which is aileron and which is pitch?

Then set it up just like your 450, which ever one (left or right) is plugged into Ch 1 on teh 450, do the same on the 550.

smartass....just kidding. i still haven't put the two together side by side yet, it just looks like the servos are in different spots or else i would have already done what you suggested. thanks though.

To be honest I'm not sure, it's all cabled up neatly now so I can't tell I'm afraid - I usually just connect it up and then tweak the settings to fit.

Huh?

Left and right front and single rear. Same as Trex 450.

But it doesn't matter, once you set servo reverse and swash direction, it totally ceases to be an issue. And since youa re using different servos, the servo reverse will probably be different. And the rear servo works the opposite direction (Trex 450 counter clockwise is up, Hurricane clockwise is up).
