Default Total newbie, maybe baby on helis, help apreciatted for nano cpx...

Hello, i am an hardcore rc electric car's guy! Plettenberg's,Lheners,Neu's are my breakfast food.

And i decided to go heli.
-Chosed an Blade Nano Cpx for sawing wonderfull videos on youtube and it's a micro, cheap and could fly anywhere.

I have the RTF, version which includes dxr4e.

I have a problem....
I flyed more then 15packs and crash 50times on every pack. Never could hoover stand still.

What can i do? Stick to cars?

Oh I forgot. When you get done practicing, practice some more.

After that he might want to practice.

In my opinion the smaller the heli, the harder it is to control it. Try something a little bigger, or better yet get a simulator.

Allright! Helis are not for me!

Who wants to buy my nano with 2 days of use?
-broken canopy, broken skid plate.

I got the package/box like new, 2 lipos, dx4e, nano cpx.
I live in Portugal and ship worldwide! I payed 180euros including shipment!
Of course of the 2 parts broken i will want less... make offers!
i accpet payment by Paypal only. mail me or pm me!

And i will try the Scout CX. Other more complicated helis nahh thanks. My brain does not get it! It should fly still on trothle only...
Just like this video on 5.40 minutes:

I was until yesterday a total newbie at helicopters but today that changed :-)

I've set 60% throttle and 40% expo as setting.

This reduce the speed of the nano a lot!

Did you train at the sim?

A computer transmitter like the dx6i is very good to program the helicopter so It can fly slow. The standard settings are just to fast to learn it without crashing it.

I can tell you guys that its one very good helicopter to learn it so after you sim a lot try it again!

This is my third flight (haven't used the sim but I'm an hardcore 3d flyer with planes)

because you get an dx6 you can lower the speed of the sticks!

I made that thing on the video above and my dx4e works now WAY better!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=RBCvZQCeD1A
i can make small corrections and uaaaaaaauuuu, i hoover more then 5 seconds now!

The remote was the culpright!
I wonder if there is a % change possible for the dx4e?

And why they sell the nano cpx with the dx4e on agressive mode? Not even a pro can fly that thing for sure!

Actually, as you get better, you will want the more aggressive mode. I like it better because it takes smaller movements of your fingers to move the heli where you want it. You can't do aerobatics with the heli in low rates. The heli just won't move quickly enough. Just wait, you'll get comfortable with it soon enough. You just need lots of practice to get the muscle memory in place.

Put mSR blades. Fly in normal mode. Turn on expo if it is off. It will make Nano very stable.

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=481746

Practice in place without obstacles, preferably outdoors or in gymnasium. Use simulator (Phoenix RC). Try to avoid flying above your limits.

How to activate and deactivate expo on the Spektrum Dx4e and Dx5e transmitters is
mentioned in page 10 of the Hyper Taxi manual (in English):
http://www.bladehelis.com/prodinfo/F...-Manual-EN.pdf

OR get bigger heli. 500 or bigger are very stable and easy to fly.

Remember big helis can be lethal.

You are lucky. Last year there was no Nano and I was learning using mCPX. Nano is far more durable. Since I started to fly 600 and 700 class I was amazed how easy it is to fly big heli.

Good luck

if i put a picture of my nano now, you all gonna laugh....

-Skid plate total broken wraped on wire to secure!
-Canopy total broken wraped on wire to secure!

and now i can fly 6 seconds on it, but my brain does not like the left and right on both sticks! It's not just for me! I could try the msr blades, that are assimetrical, right? that make the heli more stable, right?

If anyone want to buy me the nano i will sell it YESTERDAY!

Is there any heli of the size of the blade 130x but with 3 channels like the scout cx?
don't laught, some people are not to be on some stuff.... i find out that 3d helis are not for me!!!

respect to you!

I would pickup Phoenix flight sim. I spent a lot of time Learning cp helis in there before trying the real thing.

One thing that I've found with the Phoenix flight sim is that the smaller helis aren't simulated very well. I learned using the Trex 600 in the sim.

Don't sell the nano.
1: Go to your local hobby shop and buy Phoenix RC simulator.
2: spend at least 25 hours in it. When you can fly inverted in the simulator >
3: enjoy your very nice bird, the NCPX.

Scout only works with its own controller. A better option for you might be an MCX. It is very stable, MAY work with the dx4 (it should bind and fly) and will give you a lot more room to grow, if you want.

Actually with the expo on, on the dx4e i can make the heli to hoover a little...

And with that i had pratice more then 20packs now....

i can hoover it now if only i stay on the back of it's tail... otherwise my brain just can't manover the heli... but it's fun trying the sucker to fly!
i am hooked....

Blade should make big letter on manual and on the box, that for newbies using the dx4e they need to make expo on, and with 3D helis they don't hoover alone, there is a constant battle betewen us and the heli, just to make him steady!

This is what i made to him...

What are the advices for make it stable and ready for severe crashes...
-Msr assismetrical blades for more stability... check.... What exactly the assimetrical blades do different from the stock ones?

-what skid plastes (brands,models....) the stock one broke on the second pack!

-Canopy's to stand severe crashes... The stock is like toilet paper, a drop of "water" and it's rubish...by drop i mean drop on the floor!

-Other stuff?

the alloy bling from Microhelli or rakonheli, should i get it for now... or stick to plastic's for pratice, for not to bend the alloy stuff?

I really struggled hovering my mcpx when I first started. Sounds a lot like you....crashing 20 times per pack. After lots of practice I got better. The feeling when I first was able to fly a pack without crashing was SOO good!

One thing I learned late the i wish I knew earlier was to get the helicopter above 2feet from the floor to get away from ground effects. The ground effects really play havok on these little guys.

Keep with it and good luck.
