10mm main grip different material
I've been diagnosing my mysterious head wobble for a few weeks after some fixes for a couple of system failure crashes in close succession. I finally found the culprit which was the main blade grips. Although both relatively new, the 10mm grips actually came from different packages from different times, one with smooth texture (came from an older package) while the other one looks like fiber-reinforced (came from a new package). Sure enough when I did the flex test the smooth-textured one flexed more, which could definitely need to some blade tracking issue under load. Instead of swapping out the smooth one for both new-material grips I swapped out the new one for a used old smooth-textured one. Sure enough the mysterious head wobble was gone! You would think 10mm main grip is 10mm main grip, right?
Here's a flight today after the fix and removed all those dumb-down setup/settings to band-aid the head wobble issue.
