The TRex500 does fly well indeed - it's just carrying more weight which reduces the collective pop and the cyclic's tend to be a tad slower

The TRex500 has a typical weight just over 1900grams where as my Lepton weights 1650 grams (my Protos weighted 1600grams)

The Lepton feels light, free and easy and pop's up nicer
but it's tail is weak - 2850+ on the head with 68mm tails fixes that

Neither heli would disappoint you

Thanks!

The Protos can be set up with a ridiculous roll rate that is too fast to co-ordinate
It's climb is good but not much better than the Lepton
The Lepton head flies better than the Protos head however
It's not a huge difference, but enough to make loose interest in the Protos so I sold it
(Wearing parts out frequently didn't do the Protos any favors with me either)
