Default Kosmik 200 3.2 Shutdown help

My kosmik shutdown this arvo.
Error log says:
LOG_160: Battery connected; info #8: peak current limit reached; info #8: peak current limit reached; info #8: peak current limit reached; cut off #8: overcurrent interrupt;

Looking at the log, I can see a peak of 330 Amps early in the flight, but the peaks at the end when it shutdown were all around 200.

Most worrying tho is that it now wont arm:
LOG_161: Battery connected; selftest error #3: wrong voltage at motor wire;
LOG_162: Battery connected; selftest error #3: wrong voltage at motor wire;

Log attached, rename to .LOV
RossKKosmik200Pyro800Comp14SRevosOverCurrent.txt
Raw attached, rename to .DAT
LOG_160.txt

Your looking at the imotpeaks which are amps recorded just for a micro second that previously were not seen. Look at imot as this is what the motor is doing. So you can see the average is actually very low compared to the imotpeak.

At shutdown you were at 153a.

I cant see anything untoward in the log. Check solder connections first.

This is your amp draw.

I had a similar problem once and it turned out to be a partial cut in one of the windings in the motor a P700 where the machine strips the coating off the wire. Yours is a hand wound competition motor. Unlikely, but may be worth checking the windings for any irregularities. +1 on the soldering. Also worth checking the bolts fixing the motor to the plate are not impinging on any wires.

Check the windings as in pull the can off? - don't think kontronik like plp doing that? Is it hard on the 14 pole motors?

Mount bolts are def not touching the windings, made special care of that.

I will try another motor, see if the kosmik likes that

Just remove the circlip and pull the can off. Not hard at all.
Good idea to try another motor. If the kosmik arms with that one, you probably have a problem with the competition motor.

Looks like I get to find out what kontroniks customer service is like.
No matter what I do, it just says the same error, solid green LED, 3 red flashes.
selftest error #3: wrong voltage at motor wire;

This is with a different motor and even no motor, I also pulled of all leads leaving bare terminals, same error.
I can smell a faint hint of magic smoke, so I think its toast.

What to do now?
It was purchased from ready heli on 11/23/2012.

If you haven't already taken care of this you have two choices

One
Contact and send it of to RH and then they can ship it back to Germany for you. Since your in Aus I am not sure how much this will be but it will defiantly take a lot more time or

Two:
Contact Kontronik and send it back to them yourself (Again not sure how much $$ this costs but it will be the fastest back to you providing German Customs doesn't get in the way)

You can also send K an email (Ben usually has been REALLY good at getting back to me within a day or so depending on what time I email him)

Either way you will need to fill out the RMA form on K's website

In any event they WILL take care of you (And your only out the cost of shipping it TO Kontronik)

It has been been shipped back to Germany, direct to kontronik.

I have a kosmik 200 cool on the way so I won't be waiting too long to be back in the air

If you want to get that one upgraded to Kool now would be the time to do it.
