Default Are these full piro flips?

I've been working on trying to do full piroflips for several months and think I finally got the hang of it. Are these indeed full piroflips? The only thing I wasn't sure about was that it appears to me that I'm on the inverted side longer than I am on the vertical side. Is this normal? If not, how could I correct this? Thanks guys!!

Yes they are pirouetting flips (very sloppy, but still close enough to flips).

The rotor does not consistently flip keeping a single axis, it wobbles around a lot (which is why sloppy).

Keeping one side longer than another, in your case, seems to be due to not fully levelling the out the upright rotor. Consequently steer yourself inverted to inverted passing around upright instead of through it.

Definitely the right track for the move. Looking good. Just needs cleaning.

You may also want to start trying to do these CCW instead of only CW.

Thanks guys! I think from watching some of the videos on here I'm really wanting and trying to do double piro flips, but having a hard time getting that other piro in. When you do those do you really need to shrink your cyclic so your stirring a small amount? In terms of keeping one side longer than other, so your saying if I can fully level it upright it will look a lot better because I agree that I'm kind of just passing through it.

You got it.

(More passing "around it" than "through it". If you slowed down the video, can you identify a point where you are level upright mid move? I can see where you are level inverted each time.)

A flip is more a motion of the rotor disc than the tail. It's best if the rotor disc flips like a plate or a coin (irrespective of what the heli body is doing). Hope that make sense.

Try to focus on doing a number of full rotations per half flip. One full rotation is called a "single" piro flip, two full rotations per half flip are "double" piro flips. Once you get into 3 and above, it just goes to insanity.

Start tail in upright, and end nose in inverted. Split it into half flips. Then, do the second half. Start nose in inverted, and go back to tail in upright.

The trick is to match the right stick with the tail, and each time the disc is back to level, your cyclic will be at the top, completing either one, or two full rotations.
