Cool!

ANy idea the setup? How about tail blades as it looked like no trouble with the tail?

eh.. not sure though but according to the post, here's the gear:

1. Futaba S-9650 digital servos
2. Futaba GY401 gyro
3. 4S2P in parallel (8160mAh total) lipoly pack
4. motor is similar to what is in the Hirobo Lepton website (blue outrunner with fan at the bottom)

Just posted step 24. There is a tip about the screws holding the outer balls onto the swash plate that I think is important! They stick out the back side and can possibly pop a link.

Default Motor mount

If I were to build another Lepton, I would install the motor to the Titanium spacer before I installed the spacer between the carbon frames.

Too right.

This is the only seriously 'dodgy' part of my build so far (though I'm not through yet). The various pre-drilled holes only line up front & back - I'd have preferred the ones at 90 degrees to the fore/aft axis to be elongated too, so you can use those as well.

I haven't had a chance to check out Bob's video, so maybe he's sorted this already! :-)

Not yet..... Lots of concern from other about the tail rotor size but other than that it looks to be a great heli. I will know for sure when I fly mine this weekend.

Bob, very interesting way to take out interaction - and I like your way better, it seems alot easier then using the swash leveling tool,
I have a 9z, haven't programmed it in a while, whats the best way to change the end points in aero. and elevator - can't seem to recall, its been a while, which function.
Thanks a lot,
Jeff

Bob, looking forward to seeing some flying videos - do you have anyone that can wring out some 3D on it - also guess you may have to break in the packs first,
Good luck with your flying this weekend - I won't have mine done until mid next week,
Thanks again,
Jeff - NY

Well the first flight are going to be me and I can do some 3D
Once I get the machine tuned, packs broke in, etc I am sure I can get one of the HOT pilots I fly with to "ring it out". I will be sure to take videos
