I estimated it to be around .25 cm. I'm wondering with some certain 3d moves (which i don't do at the moment) it might get caught with the smalller gear.

Here's mine. Never had any issues with the tubing rubbing on anything. It doesn't press against the canopy hard at all and no signs of wear.

Mine comes out the little notch in the frame but I sanded a cutout with a dremel in the canopy. No issues so far.

Mine same as Matts, I added small piece of vinyl "U" http://www.mars480.com/skid-stop-ustrip.html
to edge of frame and edge of canopy, just for safety. Just like a small piece of fuel line with a slit in it.

It takes the line getting cut by the canopy out of the equation. Mine got cut and it has been a pain to keep it tidy. 90 degree fitting does all that. I love it more now.

Lol yeah ! I'd love to give you some awesome story but well... I forgot to put the clips on.

That lead me to fix the canopy with CA and some fiberglass uhhhh.

Which lead to putting a clip retainer thingy on which is used on RC cars. Click image for larger version

Now that's a neat idea i see where the 90 degree nipple will be advantageous where do you get the replacement nipple. Thanks.

Here is one I assume will fit. From my findings they are all the same thread. Mostly found on cars and boats.

I am sure LHS has it or can get them.

A 90 degree nipple would look great on this mod. I decided to zip tie it to eliminate tube brushing against the canopy. Thanks to all.

Good mod. Either way better to do so now then when your line gets cut.
