I went I hard today. The bolt for the tail pitch lever backed out while In flight Took out the canopy (it has been crashed more than once), main blades, landing skid, tail fin, boom, and main shaft. Around $170 for the parts. I hope to have it back up midweek.

Sorry to hear that. Definitely one of those screws I use red locktite on.

Sounds like good advice. I flew it earlier in the day so did not think to check that screw. It won't happen again.

vBar : upgrade to Pro

YGE : buy the programming card

Correct or not?

Another question is...

I've set the YGE governor function on (via TX stick) and how could I disengage it? I bet I could fly without a governor, can I? What's the down side for not flying with governor?

Sure you can fly without gov. A good gov. will just give you a consistent HS, & therefore consistent performance throughout the flight. I fly my 325s without a gov. function, and I don't really notice a difference throughout the flight.

I use the YGE gov. on all my bigger heli's, program card is a good investment.

I would be hesitant to use the 80A mainly because the BEC on the YGE 90 powerbec edition is a lot beefier. However, this would completely depend on what servos you installed on the Logo.

I thin you can do the programing by the TX sticks. It is a lot easier with the card.

Should the Vbar governor hold the head speed a bit better than this? Any tips for tweaking would be nice.

Could someone share the tail settings for me? I am getting a bad kick on hard collective climbs. I have been playing with it, but not sure what to tweak.

Just a quick update. I got most of the kick taken care of. Still a bit on a full collective climb from a hover.

Deadband: 5
Acceleration: 55
P Gain: 80
I Gain: 50
Stop Gain A: 20
Stop Gain B: 25

Torque Precomp:
Collective: 22
Cyclic: 9

That is where I am at now. I did run the optimizer again. It kicks a bit to the right. To start it looked like a bit to the left then hard right.

I finally got the tail dialed in good. I noticed a tick in the tail area. I am not sure if it the belt or where.
Tick on 480 (0 min 37 sec)

It can be heard at the start and again around 19 seconds.

if i had to guess the belt is loose? kinda hard to tell from the video.

Also on the kick issue how much pitch are you running? 0 at mid stick?

What tail servo?

Disconnect tail servo link and make sure its all smooth as butter.

It could be a loose belt. I can pinch it from the top and bottom of the tail box and get it to touch. It does not do it all the time. That is what gets me.
As for the tail I am running the Savox SH-19MG. 0 at mid stick with 13 degrees. I have the tail so smooth that the if I fold the blades they will fall under their own weight.

That seems pretty loose.

I am not familiar with that servo.

I will tighten it up some. I made a typo on the servo, it is a SG-1290MG.
Thanks for all your help
