So this morning I took apart my 2580kv motor for inspection and cleaning and I found more shims than I expected. The problem is that didn't notice where they all came from.

Can you one of you fellows show me the order that they go back together?

usually one bearring inside the bell (perhaps a second one to expand the distance between bell and stator if nessecary... ), and the c-clip outside to fix the bell on the stator (perhaps a shim, if the bell has play to move axial....otherwise you can adjust the shaft itself...)
