I placed 1/2 inch piece of nylon cable tie with the teeth towards the steel spring ratched. Place dab of shoe goo to be sure did not fall out. It makes it pretty smooth as an alternative to sanding off the teeth on the plastic.

I took mine out. I also run my real transmitter with loose tension on collective. It allows me to be more precise and smooth
