How to get the XX 800 software in a new silverline vbar ?

I bought a kit only 800 , got to piecing it together and would like to put the XX software in it.

Can I put regular pro in then upload my existing XX800 file ?

I am not sure what you mean by XX software. There is only vbar express and vbar pro. There is no special software for different models of Logos or Xxtremes. You can upgrade any time and you can upload any model to and version. Hope that helps..

I got it done

You have to email Mikado and ask them to add the firmware to the device.

Sent them a request for the XX software and the serial number of the device.

They added the XX software for me as an option.

Must have paid for pro though.

Mikado was very quick on the reply , great service.

Yep, and you WILL notice the difference, once you fly that special XX-firmware on your 800.

Yes, xxtreme download makes a huge difference to the way the 800 Logo flies, I ALSO use it on my big scale heli's too, makes the tails behave VERY well indeed lol, flies like on rails.

If you get such VBar "bundled" with the 800XX, it's VBar comes with the 800XX firmware alreayd installed...in addtition to being "Pro"

On the Setup Menu, there is an icon to indicate this.

I am running a vbar XXtreme edition from logo 800 on my Uvular and it tracks so well and flies like its on rails during FFF high speed run.

The XXtreme edition was only on the blueline series with the logo 800 as when I bought my logo 700 XXtreme combo, it only came with Silverline Pro standard edition.

The only difference by my understanding is that is pre-configured for the logo XXtreme. You can copy the configuration and used in a regular vbar with pro of course.

That was my though also.

I sent Mikado an email , told them I have pro and the sn# of the device and they activated it for me.

Took about 2 hours grand total to do.

No, not pre-configured. It actually really is different parameters within the firmware, that you cannot set for yourself in the software.
