Default Need help, Thinking about buying a Align 500L

I need help, thinking about buying a Align 500L.

I have a Blade 450X and a 360 CFX both with the AR7200BX of course. I like the way it works and no need for a computer hook up.

But the Align 500L comes with the GPRO and don't really want to spend the extra money on getting another AR7200BX or the 7300BX. And don't want to take off the AR7200BX off the 450x or 360 CFX.

So if I use the GPRO gyro, can I use just hook up 2 remote sats using a DX6 TX?

Or use the GPRO w/ a AR7610 receiver with the the DX6?

I heard that using the 2 remote sats could work with the DX6 but wont be able to adjust the tail gain. VS using the AR7610 receiver

Since the AR7200BX is discontinue and what I have seen is the AR7300BX is cheaper than the 7200... I'll suck it up and just spend the extra money for the AR7300.

Usually , if you don't take the GPro, you get it reimbursed. I decided to go with the new Microbeast Plus Pro edition. I think it is worthwhile to have the rescue function.

Before I had long time the Trex 450 Pro DFC. With the 450 Dominator I had problems, especially tail and gyro.

Therefor I take the 500L with rescue function.

I have no experience with the Gpro nor with the DX6, however in theory any 6 channel TX would do the job. In any case if you loose the rudder gain function through the TX you probably have this function through software as the Gpro is quite a modern FBL gyro. Just ask in the Align 3GX forum about this possibility.

I also think using a dedicated receiver is cumbersome nowadays unless you are flying a big heli or using Fbus or other receiver protocol.

I have a 7 channel TX and have always used only 6 channels and every single FBL unit used sats. Vortex and Brain use software tail gyro gain, no problem with that.
