Default Three motor wires?

Hey everyone, this may sound like a stupid question but I just got the Spin 16,300 KV motor and I need to wire it up. I had an HP05 motor but it came to me wired up already. The Spin motor wires all look the same and I'm not sure how to put them into the connector. Don't want to mess them up :-).

Solder them up any way you want. If the motor spins backwards. just swap the plug around 180 degrees. You have a 50/50 chance getting it right the first time!

You would be better off soldering them directly to the ESC.

Well, I would flip it but the three are separate. Isn't the middle one always the same when they're in a connector? I don't even know which one is the middle one.

To reverse polarity, swap any 2 wires. Yes, the middle position will remain the same when flipping the connector.

I don't agree with your 50/50 chance. I'm more like 10/90. 90 being wrong. Lol

Ok, do I'm confused. If I just have three naked wires hanging out of the motor, how do I determine where they go? Should I just start plugging and trying till it works?

you can plug any three wires into any three ports. If the motor spins cw then you need to switch any two wires. If it spins ccw then you go fly.

I guess from what I understand in other posts, you just plug them on anywhere and if the motor spins backwards, you can just swap any two and it will be correct. Does this sound good to everyone else?
