My thoughts exactly. Especially with 14S setup, you'd never go over 130A. Heck, even 100A will be hard to do.

Finally ESC prices are coming down. 14S packs are becoming popular, so I don't see much of a price increase... actually GenAce 7S packs are cheaper then their 6S ones atm!

Looks like it's not June, hopefully they release it before the flying is over!

They better have plenty of time to make a very good product. Take a look at Neo that is having many issues now. Haven't been thoroughly tested.

Not every product can take into account a less than par electronics setup, user error, bad electronics, or abuse so that it can be hardened against it. Mikado had been very quick to respond to wishes and issues if one arises. Not many companies can be in the industry for 25+ years NOT doing that..

Is it true that 4525 is the max motor size for the new 136T main gear?

They haven't replied my question yet...

I do appreciate at the speed that my IMU error was handled by Mikado. But the result had nothing to do with anything that you just stated. I love my neo's and I believe the Neo/Vcontrol pairing is one of the best system out hands down and would recommend it to everyone. But the RMA'ed Neo is flying perfectly on the same model same electronics and same setup with no abuse. I had the IMU error after 44 flights on a brand new model no crashes.

I've been running 7 neo's now for a year and a half with only one issue. But lets not shift the blame on to the customer for this one.

Not shifting the blame at all, I am saying that Mikado cannot account for every circumstance and it was implied that "thorough" testing was not done..

wouww wouww wouww... Wait a minute... I don't blame anyone... Just want to know whether there's a progress on this IMU sensor failure subject...

Mr. Ulrich Röhr said;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The micromechanic is not jammed, it just hangs at the end of the travel (only one of the 6 internal sensors, and always the same one). With some interesting treatment the sensor can be released, and then it works absolutely fine again.

We still look why this happens, and then we can say if, how, and when we can solve it. The sensor manufacturer does not state this effect in the datasheet (of course not) so we are on our own to find out the reasons. If we are not successful with this, we will confront Invensense with the issue. Please understand that this may take some time, but it will be important for all other manufacturers that use Invensense sensors in their FBL Systems as well (afaik all).
Luckily NEO has an second sensor, that is used for the rescue in flight. So the Software has some possibilitys to decide when and how the sensors are switched. So a software fix is indeed possible. The second sensor is of a different manufacturer (Analog Devices) and very different parameters, and does not have this issue at all.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And i asked if there's any progress about this issue on 27 June... No answer yet...

As i highlight above, Mikado accepts that;

1- This is an "issue".
2- They don't know why this happens, do suspect primary rescue sensor.
3- They are trying to solve it.
4- There has been no progress yet...

I'm not going to derail the thread. But sometimes I would just like an answer that there is a issue and its being worked on.

Very nice and the same price which is surprising. The 717 sounds nice wonder what else is different other than the blades?
