2Different head designs . what ones better than the other ? I'm to new into DFC to know that one to choose. AND wonder what the kit comes with for that price ? IM guessing we will need to install our own electronics ? WHAT ABOUT MOTOR ,SERVOS ,ESC , AND the rest of system . BLADES AND SO ON. Is there any info on what is included with the pre order 700 ?

Only airframe/canopy are included In sale. You will have to provide your flavor of electronics and blades.

Check out this forum, I'm sure there will be many many power setups being shared & you'll even get flight reports from the guys on here. This is where I got setup info & flight reviews for my very first bare kit heli (OUTRAGE 550) & I was able to choose tried & tested electrics that worked for my flying style. Don't worry, you've got all the help here & it wouldn't hurt waiting a bit to see if there are any faults with the first batch before buying.

Both head designs perform very similar to eachother. Its all about preference. The upside to the DFC head is that there is less hardware to break in a hard crash.

Default Which to pick

Love Avant helis

Have both an E and N Aurora. Want to pre order the Mostro but which to get first the E or the N and of course then which head DFC or Rigid Core? So many choices, it will only get worse when they release the 600.

With the monoblock design, you don't have to choose between the two. For example, you can buy the electric kit and just the nitro frames and engine mounting hardware, and simply swap the monoblock from one frame to the other.

very unlikely for them to make a fliybar one.
they would probably sell only a few if they did.
everyone has gone flybarless.

I was about to order the Goblin 630, looks like I'll wait and see how the 700 is. If the parts are cheaper like Avant claims then the Monstro line looks appealing.

The mostro parts will still be able to compete in the price range of the asian suppliers like the aurora has done but with that good ol' made in the USA quality.

they say they are competitive with asian prices so they'll probably match the prices of the goblin since the goblin is made in asia too.

the auroras are as cheap to fix as the aligns.
i would expect the mostro as cheap to fix as the goblin at least or maybe cheaper since it has a round boom.

The Aurora only has a CF boom, unlike other models where an aluminum boom is also offered instead.

Moreover, the Align Trex 700 "carbon fiber" tail boom is not really carbon fiber at all, but is instead a thin aluminum tube wrapped with a carbon fiber veneer to make it appear as carbon fiber. Meanwhile, the Avant Aurora tail boom is genuine carbon fiber through-and-through. Only the Trex 250 and Trex 450 booms are genuine carbon fiber.

yeah I just really like the natural feel of flybar and moreover I prefer mechanical bits to electronic.

If they do not offer it in flybar though, I may have to make the switch. Then I am scared that I will get lazy and pick up a flybar machine and it will be all over the place in manoeuvres where I once was used to do fly it on rails. That is my fear.

Will the young ladies in the photographs be available for consultation regarding building and setup?
