Yep my E7 , sorry forgot to put that in . I was having trouble getting my tail to hold well but seem to have it sorted now . I up'd the headspeed to 2250 rpm as recomended when using 106 tail blades or vice versa . Tail seems locked now . It was letting go a bit under high pitch transfer manouvers .
I also seemed to find a happy figure for the DMA tail pitch setting of +40 which seems to be conteracting torque well now .
Only trouble is I adjusted more than one thing at once , I know i should know better after 6 years of helis , but I was starting to get pissed at the tail .

Anyway back onto topic of this thread , I wondered if the servo horn length needed to be different to be optirmized for the GT5 to work at it's best , hence the question .

cheers

Got my E7 tail sorted out today witht he GT5 .
I ended up putting 115 edge tail blades on and it is locked like a vice now . Had to turnt the tail P figure down to around 85 to stop wagging and might even drop it another 3-5 points just to make sure it isn't working the servo too hard .
So once I got the tail locked in a started to beat on it and man , this set-up rocks . So glad I tried something different in the GT5 .
I'll play with the cyclic agility a bit more over time but it is really good right now . I don't seem to have any wobble on hard stops from the head so that is awesome . It seems super locked in piro moves and adding chucks of collective , it travels very straight no matter what I have thrown at it so far .

I'd have no real hesitation in suggesting to go with the GT5 on an E6/7 .
I'll put one on the E5 when Matt releases it and I get my grubby little mits on one .
