Default Motor for logo 600 sx

Hi guys,

I am building a logo 600 sx with all the electronic I got from my Fusion 50 but I can't use the align 600mx motor because the distance between screws is not 30, so I am looking for a motor.

The setup will be sab 620 main blades, vbar silverline, and with batteries I have two options, use my 3700 60c 6s Gens ace I use on my x5 or the batteries I used on the Fusion at the beginning (4000 60c and 4500 45c) 5s for a 10s setup.

So my options are the scorpion 560kv or the align 530kv 750mx.

What do you think could be better option?
My flying style is sport flight with some tick tocks and trying to improve. Also to mention is I plan to use vbar governor.

I guess better option it is 12s setup and I bought the 12t pinion.

I swapped out my scorpion 4035 560 for the savox 600 class 560kv motor this fall and have not put the scorpion back in yet. The savox is a lot lighter and has almost as much power as the scorpion. The weight difference is noticeable in the air. You only really notice if you load the head for a long period. The savox is cheaper too. I have ran several different motors in the logo over the years and I think the savox will stay for awhile.

But the 4035 has 25mm between screws, and the motor mount of the 600sx only admit 30mm distance between screws.

That was the reason I discard that motor.

By the way there is also the 700 class that looks pretty good too, the 5065 530kv.

Unfortunately you won't be able to use the 3rd bearing plate, but you wouldn't need it with that motor anyway. You can shim the bottom of the main shaft with washers or a clamp ring MIK2385.

450-500 kV is better suited to 12s. The higher kV motors you suggested can work with an 11T and (likely) reduced throttle curves.

I'm running an Align 750. Fit perfectly and is 6g lighter than the 4035. Haven't had a second's worth of troubles.

The 750MX isn't too hard on the gearing? What esc/gov are you using?

I have a Logo 600sx with:
CC 80A / 10s / 560kv / 12T pinion

With this setup, I can't get governed well at 2200rpm, with 2100 it runs well with no headspeed drops.
To be well governed at 2200 or a little bit more, you can choose one of these setups:

1) 10s / ~600kv / 12T
2) 12s / 560kv / 11T

3) Use an external governor (VBar, etc), if you have it
