100 SS issue

Got a 100SS a few weeks back and due to weather and what not haven't gotten to put in much time with it. I am flying it with my A9 and anylink module through the trainer port (do this with my other SLT planes as well)

The last three flights have ended the same way - Main rotor stops and she falls from the sky.

1st event - hit what seemed to be a LVC so I brought the heli into a hover and started to land - about 5 feet off the ground the rotor dropped to zero and I broke a skid
2nd event - put a new battery in it and went to fly again. Timer was set to 6 minutes and around the 4 minute mark with out warning she just fell from the sky. Into grass this time so no damage
3rd event - Changed time to 3 minutes - different battery - took off and flew a couple of circuits and doing a high banking turn the rotor stopped and she became a road dart. right after it hit the rotor spun back up until I killed the throttle. Skids and Canopy took heavy hits.

After each event the controls all seemed to be working and I was able to spool it up with zero drama.

I changed the battery connectors to mini-deans (4 battery packs) - all solder joints appear to be good.

Ideas - thoughts -

Well it seems no one had anything to say -

Contacted Heli-Max and they said it was probably a bad main board and sending me a replacement
