Has to be said unless you are ripping the heli in two you can get some decent flight times from this heli.

Bank 2 on my V-Bar Control running 2400rpm with a brand new 6s 4400mAh battery left me smiling today.

ok I have to ask how did you get a 4400 mah pack in the 480? I couldnt get a 4100 pulse 45c into mine-it would hit the pinion--i have to go with 3700.

what packs are you using?

My 4400 Gens fit well from what I can tell. I haven't flown yet (still building) so I'm not sure about cg but I anticipate it will be ok

Bought these 60c (Yes 60c) Gens Ace 6s 4400mAh to try.

Yes they fit with no spacing of the frames.

Nice going Tim.

Did you have to calibrate the tx similar to the fuel table in the PowerLabs to get the capacity used spot on?

I like long flight times for my style of flying and I do like the look of the 480. There is a couple of them at the club.

Brand new battery Andy, 6s 4400mAh 60c and just went through the setup in the V-Bar Control.

2 minutes later you are done.

Seems older packs need some tweaking due to the loss that comes with age.

Use three straps to hold the pack to keep it out the pinion. At least with the gens packs that side you have up has the metal plate.
