More vids up tonight!

Servo setup, head setup, and motor install....

Getting close folks! I am going to try and finish by Friday night and fly this sucker Saturday.

Also a special video will be made as I am going to be using a Logictech 6100T gyro and I will be doing a full setup video of that gyro. This will come after the maiden as I need to learn to set it up myself so I can properly teach how to set it up in the video.

Hmm, know how to work it before you teach it, why didn't I think of that LOL

Let us know how it works compared to the 611.

hehehhehehe...... Yea I cant believe I said that
Let me teach it off the cuff!

Honestly... GrandRC sent me this thing and I need to know HOW it works. Not to eval it as you see I dont do review videos much, but more how to get it working right should you buy one! I think that is the real deal

Please dont expect me to compare it.... rather... expect me to show how to set it up and how I like it... I honeslty dont like doing comparisons...... I am not here to tell you what to buy! Only to help you with WHAT you bought.

had a bit of problem setting up this gyro.. not because it very complicated.. its just that the "english" instruction seem to be written by Yoda.. but once its setup.. you love it

Phasing block???? I knew I would learn something I missed with these vids.

The head on my Titan has an adjustable phasing block. I wondered why it wasn't one piece with the headblock. I just centered it and tightened it up I'll check it tonight to make sure its set up correctly. Thanks again Bob

I cant wait to see how it flys. Soon you will need a big shop for your helis.
I'd like to see how the power is on that motor.

Bob,

Was going thru my head setup again.. in your video, you mentioned that the top long edge of the mixing level should be inline with the flybar seesaw hub at zero pitch. but for my bird, if I adjust the long linkage till the mixing level edge is inline with the seesaw hub, i get a sligh -ve pitch instead of zero. do you have any idea why it is so? thanks

Well I fly it yesterday... Sorry no vid as I was busy tweakin the new gyro and HV85 and it was pretty windy. Needless to say I love this thing on 10S!!!! I really like the way it flys!
The cyclic is a little slow and I moved the balls OUT on the washout arms which helped. It's not as fast in cyclic as a Trex600 but damn she flys sweat and true!

Anyway I will do a vid next weekend of her flying.

SO bottom line if you can afford 10S I highly reccomend 10S.

I'm really thinking 10s on my 600 and might get a e620 for 10 to 12s. I want something that has stability and extra power in a 60-90 class with extra power for harder flights. I was on the fence with the rex and e raptor got the 600 but bonus wasn't big enough for both.

Guys.. the more I tweak at this think and fly it the more I like it!
If cyclic were a little faster I would be lovin life!
Even still this think is built like a break sh*t house and I think it will be very crash worthy!

Honestly I thought to myself when building it... "I am going to get this going and sell it"... But now that I got the HV85 working in gov mode GREAT and I am still working on the 6100T Grand RC sent me... I am going to keep this thing as I really do think this is a great heli!

So right now this is what I am flying most but NOT in order of importance
Trex450 (you cant beat it for cheap to crash!)
Trex600
Raptor e620!
Hurricane 550

These are the helis I will be playing with and tweakin on!
