Default KF-700 DTS

The KF-700 DTS prototype is now under construction,
kregan just sent the one prototype to build and test,
if it performs 1/10 as well as the 600 design, this will be one mean machine

Sorry , but this one is strictly for test purposes.....
Product kits will be made available once the design is proven.

Either the Bayshore mall parking lot early in the AM or my old elementary school in West Islip.
I didn't fabricate the prototype, just building it and testing it out.
You would need to contact kregan about a kit.

Very cool. Looks like a 7HV frame adapted to Trex components.

Lower frame set now fitted with bottom plate and landing gear

A little refitting to get everything to seat correctly... such is the way with a prototype

Will the battery tray actually be able to be removed from the rear when batteries are mounted?
It appears that the boom supports may get in the way. Its hard to tell from the photos.
Very nice looking heli. Layout for components seems well thought out.

Can't say until the packs arrive, but if that is the case there is a solution...
Simply relocate the mounting of the boom stays higher up. I've done it before without any issue.

Doesn't really matter if you can take the packs out the back if you still have to take the canopy off to plug up speed control, now does it?

Would love to see the speed control still on the back alone with being able to take packs out the back. Can it be done Nightflyr?
