Default 110 slant main gear?

I don't know how long this gear has been out, but this is the first time I'm noticing it.
I'm guessing that this is a way for guys that want a different gear ratio and do not have an adjustable motor mount?
And there are two different part numbers H70G008XXW, H80G002XX for what looks like the same gear. Is there a difference between the two?

Hi Dino,
I was aware of the 112t slant main gear that came with a 12t pinion on the DFC kits, it was the 110t main with a 13t pinion that I hadn't see, I was just wondering why the change. Was there a change in motor KV and that required the gear change?

The 800 Trekker came with the 110 main (white gear) and 13 pinion, the black are just an upgrade for the Trekker which I did on mine.

Ok, now I see. It was just to lower HS, but at the same time keep that motor rpm in its power band. I saw it on a 700 and he was running 2250hs and was woundering why the change of gearing on the 700, but it started on the 800. Would you know what the benefit of the 13t-110t would be on a 700?
Thank you.

The 700 that is running 2250, I'm not sure what the gearing is, but that one is using a 800mx 520kv and the one with the 13t-110t gearing is using a 850mx 490kv motor.

Not sure of the benefit other than as you mentioned, so it will run more efficiently at a lower head speed.

Saying that I run a 10t pinion (110 main) on my Trekker with an adjustable motor mount, doing that allows me a head speed of 1090 for scale flying, she always comes down nice and cool.

The KDE 700XF 495Kv runs great with the 110T/13T combo. I had mesh issues all the time with the adjustable motor mount and the 112T main. I have been running 2000/2150/2300 on the 110T/13T and 700XF combo.
