What voltage do you guys fly your stock 25c batteries down to? I cant seem to fly past 3.82v without major bog. The heli cant even hold itself in the air.

Finally got to try my Xtreme batteries. The stock ones barely kept my mild in the air. The Xtreme ones gave it enough power that I'll have to extend my tail a bit. No word on longevity yet.

What is the ultimate lipo for the Wild Nano?

I'm not talking about longest flight time, I'm talking about 3D pop.

Keep in mind the lighter the lipo the better pop you have.
There is a point where an extra minute of flight is not worth the added weight if you want some 3D pop.

Anyone tried the Eflight 45C 1S 150 lipos?

I just ordered 4 new types, the Hyperion 180, 240 and 250 as well as the nanotec 300 from HK so these should all have some punch the 180 will be for my stock and mild setups and the others for the wild set ups as well as mcpX

I've tried the stock lipo 150 25c, hyperion 180, 240 and also glacier 250.

The lipo I love the most is the stock lipo 150 25c because of how light and powerful but flight time is between 2-3 minutes if your lucky depending on individual lipo.

The 240 hyperion and 250 glacier are heavier and makes the nano not as twitchy and runtimes are 4 minutes for me. Still has some pop but not as much when using the stock lipo.

I'm looking to get my hands on some of the 150 45c lipos to try out.

I'm using the wild motor and double brushless, 85% pitch travel and 85% flat throttle curve.

I've tried 240 and 250's and they all feel a tad heavy. Flight times were better with more mahs of course.

IMO the oversky 200mah 35c have been the best all around. Same power as the eflite 45c but longer flights.

I just ordered a couple 45C Eflite 150's to try. I remember being amazed how light it felt and how much pop the 1600KV motor had when I got my stock 150's back out when one of my Hiperion 240s died. When one died they all died within 2 days once it started. Flight times were 4 min long but like you say with 150's being lighter the flipping power was ridiculous. Also plan to try some 200 mah of some sort.

Just got my nanotech 300's, Hyperion 240's and Hyperion 250's I'm having some trouble with my double brushless at the moment but before it all went bad I managed to try and compare the Hyperion 240 against the 250.

The 250 has way more power and lift with next to no bog on hard pitch pumps the 240 struggled in comparison on the hard pitch pumps. So I'm going to be buying more of the 250's for sure!

Hope to try the nano techs out as soon as I get my nano cpx sorted.

Really not sure why it's started doing a piro of death dance on spool up! Tail is running crazy fast and won't compensate the main blades at all... I started a separate thread.. All fixed. Swooped 2 of the wires and now it's fine! Derrrrrr!

At least I can try the new nano tech 300's out now

So just ran a nanotech 300 through my double brushless nano and it's great loads of power no bogging. I think I prefer the Hyperion 250 as it's slimmer and fits better in the battery mount. The NT 300 being a little fatter are a real tight fit the plug is really tight too.

So now only time will tell which ones last the test of time

My Eflite 45C 150's arrived the other day and stock skids came today. I can't wait to try it but its already dark out now, just got off work. One guy on rcgroups says they are really only good for about 27C which is 4 amps continuous discharge.

And another tester found the Microheli 35C 200 amp to be only a 25C battery, actually less without changing the connector. He says the stock connector limits the lipo to a max of 3.5 amps continuous discharge which would be an actual C rate of 17.5 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2048044

And here is another cool find on C rate

Don't worry so much about these definitions.

If the 45C Eflite battery has less internal resistance than the 25 C, then it will allow more current to flow. However it is true that the connectors (on the battery and on the wiring harness also add some resistance, and that + the battery+the FETs+ the motor resistance ultimately limits the current draw. It doesn't mean you won't get better performance on 45C batteries, but it isn't ~twice that of a 25C pack.

Finally no one really flies at a 45C rate. That would be about 1 1/3 minutes total. At 4 minutes a flight, you are averaging a 15C draw. Of course the peaks will be higher, and you will get higher peaks with a higher C battery.

Finally a new 45C battery will always feel superior to an old worn out 25C battery, so if you want to compare, at least use a new 25C pack too.

The Hyperion 180's with the AD mount work great. A good 4 min flight with the mild set up. Will try with the wild motor and stock tail soon and see if it's as good

I use the Hyperion 180's with the Blade BL upgrade and they are fine for all the 3D I am capable of. Plenty of snap, and they are light.

I use these only for the dbl BL with the 16500 on the main. For just the main BL I use the Hyperion 180's and they are fantastic. Still new batteries so I don't know how long they will last but at the moment they are like rocket fuel for my wild setup. Really happy with them for sure....
