Note how it says it's not suitable for the 600SE. I guess Mikado will not endorse a SE-ed sx.

I wonder if you can use the SX gear and third bearing support and standard main shaft for a SE?

@ maarset,

"I wonder..."

Yes.

I also heard from a reliable source while at IRCHA that will at some point be an "update kit" for standard Logo 600 owners, should they want to modernize their machines by getting everything at once, rather than piece it together when the individual parts go in stock.

Ralf Buxnowitz message found on the European forum mikado.

Looks good when you are done ensure to affix in some glue just a dab to the connectors for both the speed control sensor into vbar module and the vbar sensor tab as well into module, of course as well all inlet servo tabs.

HEL,

Looks good. Gave me a few ideas on alternate wiring methods.

I did notice on your tail, like mine, that the M3x35 bolts don't quite engage the blue nylon lock in the nut. I purchased new 5mm longer M3x40 bolts to "fix" the problem. I also got some M3 stainless steel washers so the nut and head didn't chip off the nice orange paint. My mate converted his 600 to SX and the 600 tail already had 40mm bolts so he didn't have the same problem.

Also ground your boom. Full continuity from motor mount to tr shaft is required.

Is it ? There were rumors with the new GF tail it is not needed to use the tail-to-boom cable but I did not understood what was the end conclusion.

I can tell you for the few minutes it takes do it. On any belt heli IMO it's required. Check as is for continuity and if your good well then your good. Worst thing to experience on FBL systems is static it can wreak absolute havoc.

GREAT JOB!!!

Also put some Hot Glue or shoo goo on the rpm sensor. Those connections are very fragile.

I drilled and tapped an M2 thread into the motor mount ahead of the motor to achieve continuity from tail case to the motor mount.....

But shouldn't one also have continuity to the negative main battery of the ESC?

So that the positive of the main battery is at a potential 10S above that of the negative, regardless of any common mode static.

Just grounding to the motor mount is necessary.
