Default RX Voltage Question.... I'm stumped.

So I'd like to use a 2s pack straight into the new GPro to power 8.4 volts to Align's 815 BL servos.

The problem is that I fly Futaba, and they only make a 2.4ghz RX that can handle 7.4 volts.

What to do?

The Futaba HV stuff means 2 cell lipo, 7.4 nominal or 8.4 fully charged. It will be fine.

Even the non-HV rx from Futaba can handle 8,4 without issues. It is what i do and no problems here..

Sweet. Thanks. That does make me feel better. :-)

I see here Futaba changed the data specs sheet for their newest receivers. It explains more clearly what they meant by 7.4 volts in parentheses. My receiver specs just said 7.4 and it got me worried.

SPECS: Receiving Frequency: 2.4GHz FASSTest system
Power Requirement: 3.7 - 7.4V (voltage range 3.5 - 8.4V)
Current drain: 75mA
Extra Voltage Port: 0 - 70V DC
Size: 0.98 x 1.9 x 0.56" (24.9 x 47.3 x 14.3mm)
Weight: 0.38oz (10.9g)
