No problem. I understand what you're coming from. Well said, Ampdraw! For me, cost/performance is a factor. I'm sure micro deans will work better than JST (however insignificant it may be) for my upcoming hp07 setup. I need to justify the cost (12 batts, 6+ parallel charge cable) for the performance hit. Will see how the hp07 goes when it's up and running. For my current hp05s setup, I don't think it's worth the switch.

I think it's still on topic, we're talking about upgraded connectors, these are 550s that don't have JST or Deans as clearly they're using the stock connector....so if upgraded connectors are a 'must' then these batteries must be pointless ?

Small cost, potential for big performance boost, no brainer for me, micro Deans ordered, going to see if I can convert some of my 250's as well.

Base on the performance I get from my hp05s bird with JST, I don't see there's remotely any slim chance of "potential big performance improvement" (tiny improvement... maybe, but definitely no potential for big performance improvement) going micro deans so it's no brainer to me, too!
