Default Throttling up issues

I installed a new walkera metal head assembly...it's beautiful..but it may be part of my problem.

Problem:
As soon as I start to hover and push throttle above 65-75% I have a huge loss of power. This is with a fresh battery pack. It will hover about 2 feet off the ground but when I throttle up it really sounds as though the motor is straining.

Any ideas?

ps...I'm new to the forums!

Hold the heli and throttle up.
Watch the gear meshing, how does it look, has the main gear been damaged on one side?

Sounds like you may have too much positive pitch. Check that you have 0 degrees at mid-stick, if it's +ve at mid-stick, shorten the servo to swash pushrods
