Default Attention Jive Internal BEC users.

Hello,
I do not have a JIve.

I have a YGE with internal BEC that has 6amp continous and 12amp peak.

Will this be sufficient to run Align 615 and 655 servos.

I see your Jives have 5amp continuous and you guys seem happy with them.

any input much appreciated!!

The JIVE can 13A continously in a 50/50 duty cycle (pulsed 0/13 amps) and 15A (50/50) for up to 15 seconds.

Servos getting more and more current-hungry... Therefore in principle this is a tricky question, especially with HV BEC's and servos...
No more worries? Here is the ultimate BEC, good for up to 50 amps (HV only). Also caps may help over the peaks as long as the circuit is decoupled suitable (from the BEC).

Concerning your real question: Sorry, I don't have experience with YGE but I would think: Yes, should be sufficient.

Tom

Tom, I might be blind or my glasses fogged up, but there is no description about the microheli gadgets in their website.
The stuff looks nice and priced on the high end, but some explanation or downloadable manuals would be nice.

And no, that's not your fault . . .
