Default Titan X50's finish photos...let's see em!

In the spirit of x50 brotherhood, I thought I'd start a thread to show off your favorite heli...as long as it's a titan x50 lol. I'll start it off with a few...they're a little dark but it sort of adds to the coolness that is...the...titan x50 Oh...I have mixed feelings about the photo with the stickers over the "window"...I like the stickers, and needed them to cover some very fine cracks so they wouldn't spread...but I dunno.

Lookin' good! Hopefully I can get some pics up soon.

Are you using Outrage fuel? I loved that stuff.....too bad they stopped making it.

Thanks, Bob! And THANKS for all the help too. Get that puppy finished! Sleep is optional! lol. I'm glad you asked about fuel...I put morgan fuel cool power 20% nitro HELI fuel in it and it seemed to work great....after a minute or two it seemed to lean out a bit (factory needle settings) so I turned the needle 1/8 turn CCW and ran/hovered it 4 more times without a hitch....until I got low on fuel and the revs shot up lol...I was only a foot off the ground..hit TH and it planted well..man these things are gashogs, at least when rich! I wonder though after reading, there are so many variables in fuels, even some that say heli fuel are only 17% oil, and the morgan cool power says 100% synthetic while many people say you need some castor for helis....I was thinking of putting a bit of pharmaceutical grade castor in there to raise the oil content to about 20%. I also got 4 gallons of cool power 15% nitro HELI fuel from tower hobbies (cuz I can see I'm gonna be doing this a lot ) but now my understanding is that this fuel is also 17% oil.

Im gonna try to embed a youtube vid of my x50 hover last night...I had finished hover "practice/tuning" and my wife wanted to video a flight...I was happy to accomodate even though we had to hover it in the flood lights from the garage lol. And yes the slight movements were by transmitter input..I was not trying to hover in a box just yet. and at the end when the engine revs up it was due to being out of fuel....planted well with throttle hold! And for the record she was behind my car in case it went nuts! lol not too close.

not sure it'll work...hopefully here is the you tube link:

Default One Fine Day

This was a great day...pictured is home helipad, after flying them all numerous times...something odd I noticed...I have a 3 acre area in front of the house I fly in...I have been flying the mcpx, BSR, B400 all over the place out there. Obviously the x50 is a lot bigger...but not ONE HUNDRED TIMES bigger like it seems like in my brain! All I can seem to do comfortably with it is hover sides and tail in....LOL. edit...the beer was a celebratory beer AFTER all flying had been finished

Just take it slow and before you know it you'll be flying it around like the others.

Looking GREAT, guys! plopes: what flybar paddles are those? I like em....and kou: I'm really digging the blue canopy....I have red/orange/green color blindness issues...the blue jumps out at me much better.

I was originally after belt version but ended up with torque tube. I would prefer red canopy, i am used to it from my MT and also red is higher contrast color in compare to the ground and sky. To me at least...

I got mine through HeliDirect. Not sure who else has them. I hope they perform as nice as they look.
