Default Onboard fuel filter?

Guys, do any of you bother to fit onboard fuel filters or do you just double filter the fuel in your flight box?

If you don't mind unexpected autos, feel free to leave out the onboard fuel filter...

You must have a fuel filter before the carb. I really make a effort to keep my fuel as clean as possible (and filter it before it gets to the heli) and there are always after a period of time some dirt particals in the filter before the carb.

Don't take the risk!

I always run a fuel filter. Generally I run the Align filters because they are clear, and I can see what is happening in there!

Use one, especially if you use any sort of a fuel magnet type clunk. I have seen them degrade and if it wasn't for the onboard filter all that stuff would have made it to the carb.

Been using the align filters but watch the housing sometimes they crack and leak.
I plumbed in a Double Screen "Crap Trap" Fuel filter from Sullivan Products last weekend and its been great so far, http://sullivanproducts.com/FuelSysC...sMainFrame.htm
