The guy in the photo is 5' 8" tall (or about 1.73 m for the rest of the world).

Man, I thought a TDR canopy was pretty large... That XXTreme is now officially starting to scare me.

So Super BEC for cyclic and electronics and another BEC for tail servo?
It seems to work in 800 class, that is good.
I have WR Super BEC and Torq BL9188 ready and i am thinking if i should get Torq BL9180 for the cyclic, i do not want to overload the BEC... (building 2nd TDR)
Any thoughts?

I'm more scared about the fact that anyone can buy those... a 600-class is pretty dangerous, at least one totaled a car on our local field. A 700-class like a TDR is faster than most cars... I think we'll have to build a cage if someone here buys such a machine

btw I wanna see it in real life

Q: "So Super BEC for cyclic and electronics and another BEC for tail servo?"

The WR 14S 10 amp BEC (set @ 8.4V) powers all the servos and electronics. The tail servo does not have a second and separate BEC.

But since the JR8900g can't take 8.4V, a WR 5.2V regulator is used to step the BEC's voltage of 8.4V down to 5.2V.

So only one BEC, and then one regulator for the tail.

Quote, "...65C voltz packs are out, although TPs are only $5 dearer..."

The prices here in the States shows a $85.00 difference between the single 7S packs. I guess it's different in different places maybe ???

BTW, I was pleasantly surprised to find our Voltz 7S (65C) 5100mah packs (ready to fly with 5.5mm bullets and velcro installed), weigh a 1/2 ounce (14grams) less than another popular brand's 7S 5000mah battery that's 35C. I was afraid the 65C's would be significantly heavier. Not the case (-:

I contacted a source I have used in the past at Desire Power and was told they could supply a 7s pack 60c/120c discharge 5100mah with my choice of balance tap for $140.09 + shipping. They weigh about 46grams less than the Voltz packs as well. They also could make a 45c/90c 5200mah pack for $110.00. 5-8c charge rates possible, but they recommend 1-3c for longevity. Not sure what my pack of choice will be, but these sure look attractive.

Thank you very much, that is what i need to know, if i want to have my TDR with HV servos and possibly 14S later.
I guess your JR 8717HV will be also power hungry, so i should be fine with Torq BLS.

No experiences yet with the Voltz 65C 4500's. The only 65C Voltz packs we have right now (and probably in the foreseeable future), are for the XXtreme. Why?

Kyle will continue to have at least one of every Logo heli for demonstration and show at events etc. But in the past, the Logo 400, 500, and 600SE never got flown as much as his Logo 600's (which were his primary machines). Now sadly, the Logo 600's aren't getting flown much, as the XXtreme has become his primary ship.

So the connectors will probably rust off all the 45C Voltz batteries we have now for the Logo 400, 500, 600 and 600SE, before needing to replace any of them with 65C versions.

But, if I was starting fresh with a Logo 600SE, the Voltz 10S 4500mah (65C) packs (either the stick or 2X5's), would be a nice fit for the machine.

Oooooooo nooooooooo, those poor Logo 600's . I would love to have one I would love to take care of them if you're to busy with the XXtreme.
