To run the Vbar governor you need the Pro. The YGE esc has a governor function also.

I have had a slight tail wag. Got it traced down to the pitch slider and the tail shaft. Cleaned it up and a light coat of machine oil seems to have fixed it. I have some Dry Fluid on the way to replace the oil.
I am up to 63 flights with 5:37:29 timed. I am very happy with it.

What's your flight time per pack?

6 min. is what my timer is set for. The packs come down right at 3.85 vpc, give or take a little.

Just put a whole pack through it. It looks like the tail wag is gone.

Just did the maiden on my'n today This thing is sweet! except for the tail wag After first 2 packs I dropped tail gain fro 80-75 & adjusted belt a touch. 2 more packs, no improvement, maybe worse....

I did notice the slider wasn't super smooth.. how did you clean it up? 180 emery cloth?
What are you guys running tail gain at?

This thing is the quietest heli in my fleet, and after 6:40 on the timer I still have 45% left... I'm running 3800mA & 80% on YGE Gov. store.

I used some 1000 grit sandpaper. Then cleaned it up with some machine oil. Tail gain is set a 75 in the VStabi software. Check and make sure your tail box is square. Did you clean up the ball links on the tai grips?

OK thanks, I used 180, wiped it down & put some tri-flo on.

No I'll check the tail grip balls right now.

The back of the tail box is even top & bottom (used the ground wire connection as a shim on top) The other 4 bolts I tighten as even & tight as is reasonable.

He wants some servos to go on the 450X frame that I gave him. Now that I think about it may be a way for me to get another heli in the air. Just give the parts to him and me fly it.

He has more time on the sim than I do. So chances are that he might do it.

Up to 70 flights on it now. I am getting braver with it. Doing flips at about 8 feet of the ground. I will say it looks cool. Flip it at that height, let it down a bit more then do an inverted punch out to about 75 feet or so.

I tried to get a flight on camera. Next time I will let my flight crew have at it. I made him keep the camera I one spot.

Cool, getting those stationary flips down

I gotta work on those. I'm mostly working on tic-toc's, rainbows, got my inverted orientations pretty good, just started upright backwards circuits (with my 325)......it's like being a beginner again lol.
